1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Zeeploy platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users, including free-tier and paid-plan subscribers. By creating an account or deploying any application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms in their entirety.

2. Account Responsibilities

• Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.
• One Account Policy: Each user may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits or abuse free-tier resources is strictly prohibited.
• Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for ensuring that all content you deploy, the code you execute, and any data you process through the Service complies with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.

Your deployed applications must:

• Respect the resource limits of your plan (CPU, RAM, bandwidth, storage).
• Not attempt to circumvent platform security or resource isolation mechanisms.
• Not interfere with other users' deployments or platform infrastructure.
• Listen on the designated PORT environment variable (8080).

4. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited on the Zeeploy platform. Violation may result in immediate account suspension or termination without prior notice:

Cryptocurrency & Mining

• Running cryptocurrency miners or any form of proof-of-work computations.
• Hosting blockchain nodes for the purpose of mining or staking.

Illegal & Harmful Content

• Hosting, distributing, or linking to illegal content of any kind.
• Deploying phishing pages, scam sites, or impersonation services.
• Distributing malware, viruses, trojans, or any malicious software.
• Content that promotes violence, hate speech, or discrimination.

Spam & Abuse

• Sending unsolicited emails, messages, or notifications (spam).
• Running bots designed to scrape, crawl, or attack other services without authorization.
• Conducting denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks from or against the platform.

Resource Abuse

• Deliberately consuming excessive CPU, RAM, or bandwidth to degrade service for other users.
• Using the platform as a proxy, VPN, or tunnel service.
• Running background tasks unrelated to your application's primary function.
• Attempting to escape Docker container isolation or access host systems.

Security Violations

• Attempting to access, probe, or scan other users' containers or data.
• Exploiting vulnerabilities in the platform infrastructure.
• Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the Service.

5. Service Availability

Zeeploy provides the Service on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee:

• 100% Uptime: While we strive for high availability, scheduled maintenance, infrastructure failures, or force majeure events may cause downtime.
• Performance: Response times and throughput may vary depending on server load, geographic location, and application complexity.
• Data Persistence: Container file systems are ephemeral. Files written inside a container will be lost on redeployment or restart. Always use external databases or cloud storage for persistent data.

Free-tier accounts have no service level agreement (SLA). Paid plans include priority support but are not covered by a formal SLA unless explicitly stated in your subscription agreement.

6. Data & Privacy

• Your Code: You retain full ownership of any code, applications, and content you deploy. Zeeploy does not claim any intellectual property rights over your deployments.
• Backups: You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your code and data. Zeeploy does not provide backup or disaster recovery services.
• Encryption: Sensitive data such as API keys and access tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. Connections are secured via TLS/SSL.
• Third-Party Auth: We use OAuth (GitHub, Google) for authentication. Your credentials are never stored on our servers. We only store the minimal profile information needed to operate your account.
• Logging: We collect platform usage logs (deployment events, error logs) for operational purposes. Container application logs are accessible to you in real-time and are not retained indefinitely.
• Data Deletion: Upon account deletion request, all associated deployments, containers, and stored data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

7. Intellectual Property

The Zeeploy platform, including its name, logo, UI design, documentation, and underlying technology, is the intellectual property of Zeeploy and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Zeeploy platform or brand without explicit written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• Zeeploy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill.
• Zeeploy shall not be liable for any damages arising from unauthorized access to or breaches of your deployed applications.
• Zeeploy shall not be responsible for the content, behavior, or legality of applications deployed by users.
• Our total aggregate liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Zeeploy in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You deploy and operate applications at your own risk. It is your responsibility to implement appropriate security measures, authentication, and input validation in your applications.

9. Termination & Suspension

Zeeploy reserves the right to:

• Suspend your account or specific deployments immediately if we detect a violation of these Terms, particularly prohibited activities.
• Terminate your account at our sole discretion with or without cause, with reasonable notice (except in cases of egregious violations).
• Remove content that violates these Terms or applicable laws without prior notice.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, all your deployments will be stopped and associated data will be deleted.

Paid subscriptions terminated mid-cycle are not eligible for prorated refunds unless otherwise required by applicable law.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify users by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, by posting a notice on the dashboard.

Your continued use of the Service after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you disagree with the changes, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.
